Terms of Use

DoneStage gathers the pieces of a handoff — links, checklist, notes, encrypted secrets — and shares them with your client through a single link, without the client needing an account.

The service is in beta and free. By creating an account, you accept these terms.

Creating an account requires a valid email address and a password. An account is personal: you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account.

Choose a strong password, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.

What goes into your projects is your decision alone. You must have the right to put that information there — particularly where it concerns your clients — and to inform them of it where required.

Do not put in anything whose disclosure would expose you or a third party beyond what you are willing to accept, and nothing falling into particularly sensitive categories: the service is not built for that.

A published handoff is reachable, without an account, by anyone holding its link. The link is not guessable and the page asks search engines not to index it, but we do not control how you send it or what its recipient does next.

You stay in control: an unpublished project is not reachable, and regenerating the share link immediately invalidates the previous one.

Secret sharing exists to pass on the credentials a handoff needs. It calls for particular care:

• Send the passphrase through a channel other than the one carrying the link.
• Share only the credentials genuinely needed, and only for as long as needed.
• A lost passphrase cannot be recovered: neither you nor we can restore the content.
• A secret already displayed or copied by its recipient cannot be taken back. Revoking a bundle blocks future releases, not what has already been read.
• If you have any doubt about where a credential ended up, change it with the service concerned.

You agree not to use DoneStage for:

• unlawful activity, or distributing unlawful content;
• distributing credentials or data obtained without authorisation;
• infringing the rights of a third party;
• harming the service, circumventing its access controls, or attempting to reach another account’s data;
• sending unsolicited content.

If these terms are breached, we may suspend a handoff or an account. A suspension makes the public page unavailable; it does not delete your data and can be reversed.

If your account is suspended, you are told when you sign in and can write to us about it.

The service is provided as is, during a beta phase. We do not promise continuous availability: interruptions may happen for maintenance, incidents or technical changes.

Keep your own copy of anything important rather than making DoneStage your only record.

What you put in remains yours. We claim no rights over it and use it for nothing beyond running the service: no advertising, no resale, no model training.

The code, interface, text and graphics of DoneStage belong to the publisher, Hugo Rodriguez (trading as YHGZ). Your account gives you the right to use the service, not to copy or resell it.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Your projects, their content and your secret bundles are deleted with it, as is the record of your acceptance of these terms.

Any handoff links you had shared stop working at that point. Tell your clients if needed.

DoneStage keeps evolving. You will be told about any substantive change to these terms, and may be asked to accept them again.

The service is entirely free today and there is no paid plan. Were one introduced, it would come with separate sales terms, presented before any payment.

These Terms of Use are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply.
